Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; Zabud the son of Nathan was priest and king’s friend;
For he held fast to the Lord. He did not depart from following him, but kept the commandments that the Lord commanded Moses.
Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?
