Peter said to Jesus, “We left everything we had and followed you. So what will we have?”
And every person that has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children, or farms to follow me will get much more than he left. And that person will have life forever.
So the brothers left the boat and their father, and they followed Jesus.
Jesus looked at the man. Jesus felt love for him. Jesus said, “There is still one more thing you need to do. Go and sell everything you have. Give the money to the poor people. You will have a reward in heaven. Then come and follow me.”
