All the people said good things about Jesus. They were amazed at the beautiful words Jesus spoke. The people said, “\{How can he speak like this?\} He is only Joseph’s son, isn’t he?”

They were amazed at Jesus’ teaching, because he spoke with authority (power).

But he is teaching where everyone can see and hear him. And no person is trying to stop him from teaching. Maybe the leaders have decided that he really is the Christ. {\cf2\super [109]}

The Pharisees {\cf2\super [113]} heard these things the people were saying about Jesus. So the leading priests and the Pharisees sent some temple police to arrest Jesus.
