Moses and Aaron were some of his priests.\par And Samuel was one of the men\par who called on his name.\par They prayed to the Lord,\par and he answered them.\par


Put the special bread [183] before me on the table. It must always be there in front of me.


Then Moses put the lampstand in the Meeting Tent. He put the lampstand on the south side of the Tent, across from the table.


Then bring in the table. Put the things on the table that should be there. Then put the lampstand in the Tent. Put the lamps on the lampstand in the right places.


“Take fine flour and bake twelve loaves with it. Use 16 cups [417] of flour for each loaf.


Put them in two rows on the golden table before the Lord. Six loaves will be in each row.


David went into God’s house. David and the people with him ate the bread that was offered to God. It was against the law for David or the people with him to eat that bread. Only the priests were allowed to eat it.


This place was inside a tent. The first area in the tent was called the Holy Place. In the Holy Place were the lamp and the table with the special bread offered to God.
