If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat. If your enemy is thirsty, give him water to drink.


Or a person might find something that was lost and then lie about it. Or a person might promise to do something and then not do what he promised. Or a person might do some other bad thing.


But I tell you, love your enemies. Pray for those people that do bad things to you.


Be sure that no person pays back wrong for wrong. But always try to do what is good for each other and for all people.
