Then Joab’s men took Absalom’s body and threw it into a large hole in the forest. They filled the large hole with many stones.


A person who steals from his father and chases his mother away is a disgusting, shameful person.


Wine and beer make people lose control of themselves. They get loud and start to brag. They become drunk and do foolish things.


Punish your son when he is wrong, then you will always be proud of him. He will never make you ashamed.


His father and mother must then take him to the leaders of the town at the town meeting place.


Then the men in the town must kill the son with stones. By doing this you will remove this evil from yourselves. All the people of Israel will hear about this and be afraid.
