Caleb told the people near Moses to be quiet. Then Caleb said, “We should go up and take that land for ourselves. We can easily take that land.”
But my servant Caleb was different. He follows me completely. So I will bring him into the land that he has already seen. And his people will get that land.
Why? Because the Lord told those people of Israel that they would all die in the desert. The only two men who were left alive were Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
Only Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun truly followed the Lord!’
