You spoke to your followers in a vision\par and said,\par “I chose a young man from the crowd.\par And I made that young man important.\par I made that young soldier strong.\par


It is too much work for you to do alone. You can’t do this job by yourself. It wears you out. And it makes the people tired too!


To the people who are being lost, we are the smell of death that brings death. But to the people who are being saved, we are the smell of life that brings life. So who is good enough to do this work?


I don’t mean that we are able to say that we can do anything \{good\} ourselves. It is God who makes us able to do all that we do.


May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, [4] make you 1,000 times more than you are now! May he bless you like he promised!


So {I told you:} ‘Choose some men from each family group, and I will make them leaders over you. Choose wise men that have understanding and experience.’
