When you are treated badly in one city, go to another city. I tell you the truth. You will not finish going to all the cities of Israel before the Son of Man {\cf2\super [129]} comes again.


They have written the same things that we learned from some other people—the people that saw those things from the beginning and served God by telling people his message.


The believers were scattered by the persecution {\cf2\super [226]} that happened after Stephen was killed. Some of the believers went to places far away like Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch. The believers told the Good News {\cf2\super [227]} in these places; but they told it only to Jews.


But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch. They and many others told the Good News {\cf2\super [323]} and taught the people the message {\cf2\super [324]} of the Lord.


Saul agreed that the killing of Stephen was a good thing.


But Philip told the people the Good News {\cf2\super [159]} about the kingdom of God and the power of Jesus Christ. Men and women believed Philip. They were baptized. {\cf2\super [160]}


Before we came to you, we suffered in Philippi. People there said bad things against us. You know all about that. And when we came to you, many people were against us. But our God helped us to be brave. He helped us to tell you his Good News. {\cf2\super [4]}
