Do you have eyes that can’t see? Do you have ears that can’t hear? Remember what I did before, when we did not have enough bread?
I have told you these things now. So when the time comes for these things to happen, you will remember that I warned you.
So be careful! Always remember this: I was with you for three years. During this time, I never stopped warning you. I taught you night and day. I often cried for you.
having envy, being drunk, having wild and wasteful parties, and doing other things like this. I warn you now like I warned you before: The people who do these things will not be in God’s kingdom.
You know that we treated each one of you like a father treats his own children.
Even when we were with you, we told you that we all would have to suffer. And you know that it happened the way we said.
And you know what is stopping that Man of Evil now. He is being stopped now so that he will appear (come) at the right time.
When we were with you, we gave you this rule: “If a person will not work, then he will not eat.”
