2 Chronicles 3:2
3 Tagairtí Cros

So Solomon began to build the temple. This was 480 years [30] after the people of Israel left Egypt. This was during Solomon’s fourth year as king of Israel. It was in the month of Ziv, the second month of the year.

Solomon began building the Lord’s temple {\cf2\super [22]} at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah. Mount Moriah is the place where the Lord came to David, Solomon’s father. Solomon built the temple on the place that David had made ready. This place was at the threshing floor {\cf2\super [23]} that had belonged to Araunah {\cf2\super [24]} the Jebusite.

These are the measurements Solomon used for building the foundation of God’s temple. {\cf2\super [25]} The foundation was 60 cubits {\cf2\super [26]} long and 20 cubits {\cf2\super [27]} wide. Solomon used the old cubit measure when he measured the temple.
