The armorbearer saw that Saul was dead. Then he also killed himself. He fell on the point of his own sword and died.
Abimelech quickly said to the servant that carried his weapons, “Take out your sword and kill me. I want you to kill me so that people won’t say, ‘A woman killed Abimelech.’” So the servant stabbed Abimelech with his sword, and Abimelech died.
