They shall not take to wife a harlot or a vile prostitute, nor one that has been put away from her husband: because they are consecrated to their God,


The widow, and she that is divorced, shall fulfil whatsoever they vow.


The day that her husband shall hear it, and not gainsay it, she shall be bound to the vow, and shall give whatsoever she promised.


And she was a widow until fourscore and four years; who departed not from the temple, by fastings and prayers serving night and day.


For the woman that hath an husband, whilst her husband liveth is bound to the law. But if her husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.


And when she is departed, and marrieth another husband:
