O Lord God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep for ever this will of their heart: and let this mind remain always for the worship of thee.


And the people rejoiced, when they promised their offerings willingly: because they offered them to the Lord with all their heart. And David the king rejoiced also with a great joy.


And he did what was good in the sight of the Lord: but yet not with a perfect heart.


My son, give me thy heart: and let thy eyes keep my ways.


Amalec dwelleth in the south, the Hethite and the Jebusite and the Amorrhite in the mountains: but the Chanaanite abideth by the sea and near the streams of the Jordan.


Shall not enter into the land, over which I lifted up my hand to make you dwell therein: except Caleb the son of Jephone, and Josue the son of Nun.


For the Lord had foretold that they should die in the wilderness. And none remained of them, but Caleb the son of Jephone, and Josue the son of Nun.


Who, when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, rejoiced: and he exhorted them all with purpose of heart to continue in the Lord.


Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart,


Except Caleb the son of Jephone: for he shall see it, and to him I will give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath followed the Lord.


Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.
