Matthew 24:2
8 Tagairtí Cros

‘Micah the Moreshite  prophesied in the days of King Hezekiah of Judah  and said to all the people of Judah, “This is what the Lord of Armies says: Zion will be ploughed like a field, Jerusalem will become ruins, and the temple’s mountain will be a high thicket.”

Therefore, because of you, Zion will be ploughed like a field, Jerusalem will become ruins, and the temple’s mountain will be a high thicket.

They will crush you and your children among you to the ground,   and they will not leave one stone on another   in your midst, because you did not recognise the time when God visited you.’

Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness

I did not see a temple in it, because the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
