He said, ‘Don’t be afraid, you who are treasured by God. Peace to you; be very strong! ’ As he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, ‘Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.’
But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be.
While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood by them in dazzling clothes.
‘He is not here, but he has risen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
God raised him up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by death.
