Just as God demolished Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighbouring towns – this is the Lord’s declaration – so no one will live there; no human being will stay in it even temporarily as a temporary resident.
Jesus went into the temple , and threw out all those buying and selling. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the chairs of those selling doves.
People went on eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage until the day Noah boarded the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all.
