For he came from prison to be king,  even though he was born poor in his kingdom.


Then all the trees of the field will know that I am the  Lord. I bring down the tall tree, and make the low tree tall. I cause the green tree to wither and make the withered tree thrive. I, the Lord, have spoken and I will do it.” ’


In that day I will restore the fallen shelter  of David: I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,


Isn’t this the carpenter,  the son of Mary,  and the brother of James,  Joses, Judas,  and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us? ’ So they were offended  by him.


For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.’


I tell you, this one went down to his house justified   rather than the other, because everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.’


Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.


The bows of the warriors are broken, but the feeble are clothed with strength.
