Then the devil left him, and angels came and began to serve him.


If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way,   and some of them have come a long distance.’


Now the servants and the officials had made a charcoal fire, because it was cold. They were standing there warming themselves, and Peter was standing with them, warming himself.


‘Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,’ Jesus told them.


Jesus came, took the bread, and gave it to them. He did the same with the fish.


Since they were not far from land (about a hundred metres  , away), the other disciples came in the boat,  dragging the net full of fish.


Then Jesus took the loaves, and after giving thanks he distributed them to those who were seated #– #so also with the fish, as much as they wanted.


‘There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish #– #but what are they for so many? ’
