I know that you always hear me, but because of the crowd standing here I said this, so that they may believe you sent   me.’


Therefore, many of the Jews who came to Mary and saw what he did believed in him.


If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans  will come and take away both our place and our nation.’


But the chief priests had decided to kill Lazarus also,


This is also why the crowd met him, because they heard he had done this sign.


Nevertheless, many did believe in him even among the rulers,  but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, so that they would not be banned from the synagogue.


However, many from the crowd believed in him and said, ‘When the Messiah comes, he won’t perform more signs than this man has done,  will he? ’


But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began to contradict what Paul was saying, insulting him.
