Doesn’t the ear test words as the palate tastes food?


If only Job were tested to the limit, because his answers are like those of wicked men.


For Job has declared, ‘I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.


Stop judging   according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgement.’


Do not be conformed  to this age,  but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,  so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will  of God.


but test all things.  Hold on to what is good.


Everyone who saw it said, ‘Nothing like this has ever happened or has been seen since the day the Israelites came out of the land of Egypt until now.  Think it over, discuss it, and speak up! ’


Look, all of you are Israelites. Give your judgement and verdict here and now.’
