I am a laughing-stock to my   friends, by calling on God, who answers me. The righteous and blameless man is a laughing-stock.


He has made me an object of scorn to the people; I have become a man people spit at.  ,


Foolish  men, without even a name. They were forced to leave the land.


You deceived  me, Lord, and I was deceived. You seized me and prevailed. I am a laughing-stock all the time; everyone ridicules me.


I am a laughing-stock  to all my people, mocked by their songs  all day long.


‘All our enemies open their mouths against us.


When they sit and when they rise, look, I am mocked by their songs.
