Above all, may the Lord give you insight and understanding when he puts you in charge of Israel so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.


Now grant me wisdom and knowledge so that I may lead these people,  for who can judge this great people of yours? ’


I have filled him with God’s Spirit, with wisdom, understanding, and ability in every craft


I have also selected Oholiab  son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be with him. I have put wisdom in the heart of every skilled craftsman  in order to make all that I have commanded you:


I love those who love me, and those who search for me find me.


Then he proceeded to denounce the towns where most of his miracles were done, because they did not repent:


Later he appeared to the Eleven  themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw him after he had risen.

To some we are an aroma of death  leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life  leading to life. Who is adequate for these things?


Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.


But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretence.


Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.


and receive whatever we ask from him because we keep his commands  and do what is pleasing in his sight.
