Didn’t he himself say to me, “She is my sister”? And she herself said, “He is my brother.” I did this with a clear conscience and clean hands.’
and asked the servant, ‘Who is that man in the field coming to meet us? ’ The servant answered, ‘It is my master.’ So she took her veil and covered herself.
So Abimelech warned all the people, ‘Whoever harms this man or his wife will certainly be put to death.’
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but one who hates correction is stupid.
A wise correction to a receptive ear is like a gold ring or an ornament of gold.
The captain approached him and said, ‘What are you doing sound asleep? Get up! Call to your god. , Maybe this god will consider us, and we won’t perish.’
