Israel sent messengers to say to King Sihon  of the Amorites,


This was after he had defeated King Sihon of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and King Og of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth, at Edrei.


“Let us travel through your land; we will keep strictly to the main road. We will not turn to the right or the left.


Kedemoth with its pasturelands, and Mephaath with its pasturelands #– #four cities.
