Daniel 5:30
9 Tagairtí Cros

These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.

Babylon, I laid a trap for you, and you were caught, but you did not even know it. You were found and captured because you pitted yourself against the  Lord.

Sharpen the arrows! Fill the quivers! The Lord has roused the spirit of the kings of the Medes because his plan is aimed at Babylon to destroy her, for it is the  Lord’s vengeance, vengeance for his temple.

Messenger races to meet messenger, and herald to meet herald, to announce to the king of Babylon that his city has been captured from end to end.

While they are flushed with heat, I will serve them a feast, and I will make them drunk so that they celebrate.  , Then they will fall asleep for ever and never wake up. This is the  Lord’s declaration.

I will make her princes and wise men drunk, along with her governors, officials, and warriors. Then they will fall asleep for ever and never wake up. This is the King’s declaration; the Lord of Armies is his name.

Therefore, they will now go into exile as the first of the captives, and the feasting  of those who sprawl out will come to an end.
