Claudius Lysias, To the most excellent governor Felix: Greetings.


Five days later Ananias  the high priest came down with some elders and a lawyer named Tertullus. These men presented their case against Paul to the governor.


We acknowledge this in every way and everywhere, most excellent  Felix, with utmost gratitude.


Since they were staying there several days, Festus presented Paul’s case to the king, saying, ‘There’s a man who was left as a prisoner by Felix.


When we entered Rome,  Paul was allowed to live by himself with the soldier who guarded him.


Philip appeared in  Azotus,  and he was travelling and preaching the gospel in all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
