During the long war between the house of Saul and the house of David,  David was growing stronger  and the house of Saul was becoming weaker.


the sixth was Ithream, by David’s wife Eglah. These were born to David in Hebron.


Then Jehu and Jehonadab son of Rechab entered the temple of Baal, and Jehu said to the servants of Baal, ‘Look carefully to see that there are no servants of the Lord here among you #– #only servants of Baal.’


But if you go with them, do it! Be strong for battle! But God will make you stumble before the enemy,  for God has the power to help  or to make one stumble.’

The name of Saul’s wife was Ahinoam daughter of Ahimaaz. The name of the commander of his army was Abner son of Saul’s uncle Ner.
