Indeed, he lured you from the jaws  of distress to a spacious and unconfined place. Your table was spread with choice food.


When you walk, your steps will not be hindered; when you run, you will not stumble.


Better what the eyes see than wandering desire.  This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.  ,


House of Jacob, should it be asked, ‘Is the Spirit of the  Lord  impatient? Are these the things he does? ’ Don’t my words bring good to the one who walks uprightly?


How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.


We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;


Make room for us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, corrupted  no one, taken advantage of no one.


For God is my witness,  how deeply I miss all of you  with the affection of Christ Jesus.


If anyone has this world’s goods  and sees a fellow believer  in need  but withholds compassion  from him #– #how does God’s love reside in him?
