Baal-hanan the Gederite was in charge of the olive and sycamore trees  in the Judean foothills. Joash was in charge of the stores of olive oil.


All of King Solomon’s drinking cups were gold, and all the utensils of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. There was no silver, since it was considered as nothing in Solomon’s time,


‘The bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild with cut stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will replace them with cedars.’


So Amos answered Amaziah, ‘I was  not a prophet or the son of a prophet;  , rather, I was  a herdsman,  and I took care of sycamore figs.


So running ahead, he climbed up a sycamore tree to see Jesus, since he was about to pass that way.
