In  the second year of Israel’s King Jehoash  , son of Jehoahaz,  Amaziah  son of Joash became king of Judah.


Then all the people of Judah took Azariah,  , who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah.

Then the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, because the troops that had come with the Arabs  to the camp had killed all the elder sons.  So Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.
