Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

You blind fools! For which is greater: the gold, or the sanctuary of the temple that has made the gold sacred? [Exod. 30:29.]

Ye fools and blind: for which is greater, the gold, or the temple that hath sanctified the gold?

You foolish and blind people! Which is greater, the gold or the temple that makes the gold holy?

Ye foolish and blind; for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?

If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts:

And you say: 'Whoever will have sworn by the altar, it is nothing. But whoever will have sworn by the gift that is on the altar is obligated.'

How blind you are! For which is greater: the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

For he who sanctifies, and those who are sanctified, are all from One. For this reason, he is not ashamed to call them brothers, saying:
