Behold, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be as prudent as serpents and as simple as doves.


Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.


And the hired hand flees, because he is a hired hand and there is no concern for the sheep within him.


But he who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep.


To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out.


I know that after my departure ravenous wolves will enter among you, not sparing the flock.
