Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.


Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.


Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not declared unto thee of old, and showed it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.\par


that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me: I am Jehovah, and there is none else.


Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; {\i I am} God, and there is none like me;


And Jehovah said, Doest thou well to be angry?


And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.


And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.


And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?


saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.


Jesus answered, {\cf6 The first is, {\b Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one:}


and crying out with a loud voice, he saith, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee by God, torment me not.


And he said unto them, {\cf6 Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may establish your tradition.


Ah! what have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.


And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, {\i even} Jesus Christ.


The same following after Paul and us cried out, saying, These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim unto you the way of salvation.


And the evil spirit answered and said unto them, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?


And as he reasoned of righteousness, and self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, Go thy way for this time; and when I have a convenient season, I will call thee unto me.

And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.


And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.\par
