Psalm 130

¹ {\b A Song of Ascents.}\par\par\tab Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.

² Lord, hear my voice:\par\tab Let thine ears be attentive\par\tab To the voice of my supplications.

³ If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities,\par\tab O Lord, who could stand?

⁴ But there is forgiveness with thee,\par\tab That thou mayest be feared.

⁵ I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait,\par\tab And in his word do I hope.

⁶ My soul {\i waiteth} for the Lord\par\tab More than watchmen {\i wait} for the morning;\par\tab {\i Yea, more than} watchmen for the morning.

⁷ O Israel, hope in Jehovah;\par\tab For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness,\par\tab And with him is plenteous redemption.

⁸ And he will redeem Israel\par\tab From all his iniquities.
