This is the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, And of them that speak evil against my soul.


Thou shalt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger. The LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.


but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.


For the LORD hath indignation against all the nations, and fury against all their host: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.


A voice of tumult from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.


And I am very sore displeased with the nations that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.


But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.


Howbeit these mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.


And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.


And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of Almighty God.
