This is the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, And of them that speak evil against my soul.


Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure:


I will tell of the decree: The LORD said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.


In the covert of thy presence shalt thou hide them from the plottings of man: Thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.


O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in him.


O fear the LORD, ye his saints: For there is no want to them that fear him.


Blessed is the man that maketh the LORD his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.


O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.


He that giveth heed unto the word shall find good: And whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.


And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgement; blessed are all they that wait for him.


Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.


And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.


before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.

who through him are believers in God, which raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.


Because it is contained in scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.


Then Samuel took the vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not that the LORD hath anointed thee to be prince over his inheritance?
