Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree, in its first season, I saw your ancestors. But they came to Baal-peor and consecrated themselves to a thing of shame and became detestable like the thing they loved.


Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord, as in the days of old and as in former years.


He will turn the hearts of parents to their children and the hearts of children to their parents, so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse.


“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.


People do not light a lamp and put it under the bushel basket; rather, they put it on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.


What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others.


With the spirit and power of Elijah he will go before him, to turn the hearts of parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.


they were scorched by the fierce heat, but they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues, and they did not repent and give him glory.


Repent, then. If not, I will come to you soon and wage war against them with the sword of my mouth.

I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
