which comes out like a bridegroom from his wedding canopy, and like a strong man runs its course with joy.


Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage and the ends of the earth your possession.


the meadows clothe themselves with flocks; the valleys deck themselves with grain; they shout and sing together for joy.


Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power, your enemies cringe before you.


Yours is the day, yours also the night; you established the luminaries and the sun.


You crushed Rahab like a carcass; you scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.


[[When the nations roar like the roaring of many waters,]] he will rebuke them, and they will flee far away, chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind and like whirling dust before the storm.


And when you look up to the heavens and see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, do not be led astray and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples everywhere under heaven.


At that moment there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
