Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart; furthermore, it was I who kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her.

He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that he may judge his people:


The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah


I alone am the one who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.


It is a guilt offering; you have incurred guilt before the Lord.”


Then the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’


(And all the people who heard this, including the tax collectors, acknowledged the justice of God, having been baptized with John’s baptism.


because he has fixed a day on which he will have the world judged in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”


But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.


By no means! Although every human is a liar, let God be proved true, as it is written, “So that you may be justified in your words and you will prevail when you go to trial.”


For the one who said, “You shall not commit adultery,” also said, “You shall not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but you murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.


But if you show partiality, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.


And I heard the angel of the waters say, “You are just, O Holy One, who are and were, for you have judged these things;


Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse! Its rider is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and wages war.
