You, therefore, shall prophesy to them all these words and say to them: The Lord will roar from on high and from his holy habitation utter his voice; he will roar mightily against his fold and shout like those who tread grapes against all the inhabitants of the earth.


The circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord Is There.


The Lord utters his voice at the head of his army; how vast is his host! Numberless are those who obey his command. Truly the day of the Lord is great, terrible indeed—who can endure it?


And he said: The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds wither, and the top of Carmel dries up.


The time is surely coming, says the Lord, when the one who plows shall catch up with the one who reaps and the treader of grapes with the one who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.


The Lord, God of hosts, he who touches the earth and it melts, and all who live in it mourn, and all of it rises like the Nile and sinks again, like the Nile of Egypt,


Then the mountains will melt under him, and the valleys will burst open like wax near the fire, like waters poured down a slope.


The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt; the earth heaves before him, the world and all who live in it.


Have no dread of them, for the Lord your God, who is present with you, is a great and awesome God.


As soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no courage left in any of us because of you. The Lord your God is indeed God in heaven above and on earth below.

Then I saw a great white throne and the one who sat on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.
