I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.


Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.


that I would not take a thread or a sandal strap or anything that is yours, so that you might not say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’


The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become wealthy; he has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female slaves, camels and donkeys.


Isaac sowed seed in that land and in the same year reaped a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,


and the man became rich; he prospered more and more until he became very wealthy.

Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory and that your hand might be with me and that you would keep me from hurt and harm!” And God granted what he asked.


Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents that I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”


Hezekiah had very great riches and honor, and he made for himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of costly objects;


He likewise provided cities for himself and flocks and herds in abundance, for God had given him very great possessions.


By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their cattle decrease.


It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved.


surely those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off.


The crown of the wise is their wealth, but folly is the garland of fools.


An estate quickly acquired in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.


The miser is in a hurry to get rich and does not know that loss is sure to come.


endowing with wealth those who love me and filling their treasuries.


At the end of ten days it was observed that they appeared better and fatter than all the young men who had been eating the royal rations.


I have sent it out, says the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name, and it shall abide in that house and consume it, both timber and stones.”


So now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground that you, O Lord, have given me.’ You shall set it down before the Lord your God and bow down before the Lord your God.


The Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground in the land that the Lord swore to your ancestors to give you.


As for you, keep away from the things devoted to destruction, so as not to covet and take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel an object for destruction, bringing trouble upon it.
