the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with a skin disease are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them.


Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out and started shouting, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.”


and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he has epilepsy and suffers terribly; he often falls into the fire and often into the water.


As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him.


But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the amazing things that he did and heard the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became angry


The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”


When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you have faith that I can do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.”


Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”


It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, help us! Have compassion on us!”


they called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”


Then he said to them, “How can they say that the Messiah is David’s son?


Jesus had just then cured many people of diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits and had given sight to many who were blind.


Has not the scripture said that the Messiah is descended from David and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”


the gospel concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh


to them belong the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, comes the Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.
