19 Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Truly I direct my steps by all your precepts; I hate every false way.


Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.


Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.


“Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one has arisen greater than John the Baptist, yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.


Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man is seated on the throne of his glory, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


It will not be so among you, but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant,


and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”


for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink; even before his birth he will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

And why not say (as some people slander us by saying that we say), “Let us do evil so that good may come”? Their judgment is deserved!


What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may increase?


What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!


You must diligently observe everything that I command you; do not add to it or take anything from it.


“ ‘Cursed be anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by observing them.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen!’


But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.


The saying is sure. I desire that you insist on these things, so that those who have come to believe in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works; these things are excellent and profitable to everyone.


And when the chief shepherd appears, you will win the crown of glory that never fades away.


Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.


But I have this against you: you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and is teaching and beguiling my servants to engage in sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.


Therefore the Lord the God of Israel declares: I promised that your family and the family of your ancestor should go in and out before me forever, but now the Lord declares: Far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be treated with contempt.
