He said to the keeper of the wardrobe, “Bring out the vestments for all the servants of Baal.” So he brought out the vestments for them.


Awake; awake; put on your strength, O Zion! Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city, for the uncircumcised and the unclean shall enter you no more.


We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.


unless you have utterly rejected us and are angry with us beyond measure.


At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the people who settle like dregs in wine, those who say in their hearts, “The Lord will not do good, nor will he do harm.”


Let both of them grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’ ”


Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered all whom they found, both good and bad, so the wedding hall was filled with guests.


His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the granary, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”


Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.


(“See, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and is clothed, not going about naked and exposed to shame.”)


to her it has been granted to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.


and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.


Therefore I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white robes to clothe yourself and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
