As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into human hands,


and they will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised.” And they were greatly distressed.


And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus himself alone.


And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”


Then Jesus said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”


And he sternly ordered them not to tell anyone about him.


Her parents were astounded, but he ordered them to tell no one what had happened.


When the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and in those days told no one any of the things they had seen.
