So the accuser went out from the presence of the Lord and inflicted loathsome sores on Job from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.


Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out and started shouting, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.”


And I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him.”


So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought to him all the sick, those who were afflicted with various diseases and pains, people possessed by demons or having epilepsy or afflicted with paralysis, and he cured them.


They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases, and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.


Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place because Jesus often met there with his disciples.
