32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.


and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.


Just as the weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age.

And his master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly, for the children of this age are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light.

They replied, “Surely you are not also from Galilee, are you? Search and you will see that no prophet is to arise from Galilee.” [[


Repent, therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out,


far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.


even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a man of violence. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,


The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the foremost.


for, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.


As for those who in the present age are rich, command them not to be haughty or to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches but rather on God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.


for Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.


training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly,


Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
