After sending away the crowds, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.


Again he began to teach beside the sea. Such a very large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat on the sea and sat there, while the whole crowd was beside the sea on the land.


And leaving the crowd behind, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. Other boats were with him.


And when he had stepped out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met him.


Immediately aware that power had gone forth from him, Jesus turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my cloak?”


And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.


Once while Jesus was standing beside the Lake of Gennesaret and the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God,


He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little way from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.


When Jesus realized that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
