People were bringing children to him in order that he might touch them, and the disciples spoke sternly to them.


While he was still speaking, some people came from the synagogue leader’s house to say, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the teacher any further?”


Those who were in front sternly ordered him to be quiet, but he shouted even more loudly, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”


Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.


In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
